UCI Office 365 is Microsoft's 'Office 365 for Education' program for faculty and staff at UCI, intended for University business. Other plans are more appropriate for personal use.
UCI Office 365 is available at no cost to all non-HS UCI faculty and staff, but for those in academic schools, you should consult with your local IT support before using these services.

Generally, schools qualify for Office 365 Education Plus when they license Office institution-wide for faculty and staff through Enrollment for.
Unfortunately at this time, HS faculty and staff are unable to participate.
UCI Office 365 includes many applications, including email, calendar and file storage ('OneDrive'), conferencing, collaboration, and instant messaging ('Teams'), and Office Online (tools to create and edit Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. documents in your web browser.)
UCI Office 365 is made available through a UC system-wide contract to provide Microsoft Cloud Services to the campus community. OIT Exchange users are moving to Office 365 with a target completion date of December 2015. As more information becomes available, it will be added here.
All the documents here pertain to UCI faculty and staff who are users of OIT Exchange services, and have accounts of the form 'UCInetID@ad.uci.edu'. If you wish to become an Exchange user, send an email to oit@uci.edu (or call x42222).
